We at Selfmade company recognize and respect the importance of keeping your information secure and being transparent about how we use your personal information.  This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you visit our Site or make a purchase from selfmade.ee.

 

Please read this Policy carefully.   This Policy applies to all information collected through our website, app, and any related services, sales, marketing, or events (collectively, the “Site”).  By using, accessing, or purchasing from our Site, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.  If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use, you must immediately stop using our Site.           

What information do we collect?

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the term “Personal Information” includes the voluntary personal information, account information, user content, device information, social media login data, and third-party information we receive as described in this policy.

 

Information you provide to us:

Voluntary Personal Information.  We collect certain information you voluntarily provide to us, such as when registering an account, making a purchase, or sending us messages.  This information may include your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, user name, and any other information you voluntarily provide.

 Account Information.  If you make a purchase from our Site, we collect your Voluntary Personal Information, shipping address, billing address, payment information, past purchases, current purchases, and returns.  

User Content.  We collect any information you post to, or share with, our Site and our related social media sites, such as reviews, comments, videos, or photos.  Please use care when uploading any User Content, as this information is publicly available.  Please be aware that if you remove User Content that you posted to our Site, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages.  Additionally, other users may have copied or saved your User Content. 

Device Information. When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.  Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. 

Social Media Login Data.  We may provide you the option to register or access your account through a social media account, such as Facebook or Twitter.  If you register or access your account this way, we will collect profile information about you from the social media provider.  While the information varies by provider, it often includes your name, e-mail address, friends list, profile photo, and other information you make public on the social media site. 

We do not control and are not responsible for uses of your Personal Information by your third-party social media provider.  You should review the privacy policies of the social media provider and adjust your privacy settings according to your preferences.

 

Information we may receive from a third-party:

We may receive information from a third-party, such as public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, and others.  For example, we may obtain social media profiles, birthdate, gender, profile photos, and other information you choose to make public. 

 

Other information we may collect from you:

User Content metadara.  User Content metadata is information about where, when, how, and by whom User Content was collected.  If you share photos or videos on our Site, it may include names, geographical location, comments, or other data.  We use metadata to provide the features and functions of our Site.  We also use metadata to communicate with you, such as through account verification, purchase confirmation, newsletters, promotions, special offers.    

Log Files.  We use log files to track actions occurring on the Site.  We Log file data inlcudes your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

General.  We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  For further clarification, we share your Personal Information:

Changes in Business Structure.  We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Third-Party Providers.  We may share your Personal Information with vendors, service providers, consultants, contractors, and agents who perform services for us or on our behalf.  We may allow third parties to use tracking technology on our Site in order to analyze how you interact with the Site over time.

What are your privacy rights?

Please note that at this time we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from your browser as there is no uniform technology for recognizing and responding to these requests.

California Residents
California law permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.

If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information in the Contact Us section below.  We reserve the right to request further information in order to verify you are a California resident.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Services, you have the right to request the removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request the removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided in the Contact Us section, below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Services, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.

Nevada Residents

If you are a resident of Nevada, you may request we limit the sale of certain personal information to third parties for resale or licensing purposes.  You are entitled to register your preference for limits on such sales in the future by contacting us.

EU Residents and Non-Residents of the United States of America

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including Canada and the United States.

Data retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.  We will not, however, delete any information that is necessary for us to maintain our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements with you.

If we no longer need your information, we will generally delete or de-identify it in accordance with our standard data retention practices.  There may be technical or operational reasons that prevent us from fully deleting or de-identifying your information, such as where your information has been archived onto back-up systems.

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the security of your Personal Information that we possess or store.  We cannot guarantee the complete security of any internet transmitted or stored via the internet.  Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Information, the transmission of your Personal Information to and from our Site is at your own risk.  You should take appropriate steps to secure your device and only access our Site from a secured device that you trust. 

 

Protecting Children’s Privacy Online:

Our Site is not intended to be used by individuals under the age of thirteen (13).  We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent. We may, in our sole discretion, modify or update this Policy from time to time.  Therefore, you should periodically review this Policy.  When we make any material changes, we will update the “effective date” of the Policy.
